Grief Counseling for Women
There is a way to find your breath again. There is an intersection where pain and beauty coexist.
No matter the loss you have faced, the pain of grief is deep and wide. I truly understand.
While I can’t take away your pain, I can offer attuned care and connection while you navigate a new reality. I can hold space for you that doesn’t require you to make any detail more palatable.
There is no one way to grieve and there is no single way to heal. I am here to be a witness and companion as we chart a path that feels bearable to you, one moment at a time. Healing after loss is possible.
I know the feeling of wondering if I’d ever feel whole again. I know the darkness of unimaginable grief.
I also know healing and joy. I want that for you.
I’m here for you.How I help
Even when hope feels lost, there is a path to a life you love again.
I primarily work with women who are picking up the pieces after traumatic loss, particularly those who have faced sudden or unexpected losses. I do this by…
Providing space to process complex emotions without judgement, whether you can’t get out of bed or you feel numb and robotic.
1
Merging awareness and empathy to provide a greater understanding of your experiences, emotions, and symptoms.
2
Offering genuine connection that heals through understanding, reduces your isolation, and validates your experiences.
3
Helping you manage logistics, establishing routines, and navigating transitions as you feel ready.
4
Providing practical tools and resources for navigating overwhelming emotions, finding meaningful community, and honoring your loved one.

Special Populations I Serve
Child Loss Grief and Grief Counseling After Infant Loss
There is no pain that is deeper or wider than the loss of your child. Losing a child at any age, for any reason, is the most traumatic experience a human can endure. If you are here, I’d be honored to hold your grief with you.
Grief Counseling After Stillbirth, Fetal Demise, or TFMR
While I do work with women who have suffered miscarriage, this category of grief support is particularly aimed at those who have suffered later term losses due to stillbirth, fetal demise, or TFMR. The reality of losing your baby is tragic and deserves all the acknowledgement that the loss of a living child would get.
Loss of a Parent or Sibling at a Young Age
If you lost a parent or sibling before age 25, the trajectory of your life has altered course because of a loss that occurred before all of your major adult milestones. The grief of lost time, experiences, and relationship is so great. I am here to help you with the impact, no matter how long ago your loss occurred.

While grief fades in intensity and frequency over time, it never goes away in full. When I ask parents in sessions how they would feel if they felt no grief over the loss of their child, they universally respond with “Oh, I wouldn’t want that.”
Grief is what keeps you connected to the memory of your child. It’s a reflection of the depth of love you carry for them. That will always be present, even when it doesn’t feel as debilititng.

It can be, yes. Grief is overwhelming and sometimes the brain protects us by turning down our ability to feel. It won’t be this way forever but there’s nothing wrong with you if you have periods of numbness, anger, or even feelings of guilt.

If you find yourself ruminating on the events of a loss, losing sleep, or feeling unable to focus on other things, it’ s best to seek out a specialized and licensed grief therapist.
