SCHEDULING

To schedule an appointment, please email me to set up an initial complimentary 15 minute phone call. This call is intended for us to assess if we are a good therapeutic match and discuss availability.

INSURANCE

I am an out-of-network provider. This means that you pay for therapy sessions at the time of service and later submit a superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement. I provide you a superbill at the end of each month for all billable services rendered that month. It is suggested that you check with your insurance provider prior to services to see what your specific out-of-network psychotherapy reimbursement benefits are. It is also important to inquire about if you are required to meet your deductible before accessing your benefits. I gladly accept HSA and FSA payments as well. Please note that parent coaching sessions are not reimbursable through insurance unless you are also seeking counseling.

good faith estimate

The No Surprises Act ensures that you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of what your services will cost. I will provide you with an estimate along with my practice policies upon confirmation of our first appointment.

SCALED PRICING

I strongly believe that therapy should be available to all people, regardless of socioeconomic status. Therefore, I have a scaled pricing system for my practice. Each pricing category has the same amount of client slots available. Please read on for further details and let’s connect about which fee is right for you at our consultation call.

Sessions are 50 minutes in length. Longer or shorter sessions are available as needed and are pro-rated in 15 minute increments.

A STATEMENT ON SOCIAL JUSTICE AND HEALTHCARE INEQUITY

I am aware of and care about the systemic issues in the healthcare industry. While I don’t have a solution for every inequity in my field, I am doing my best to find creative ways to address systems of oppression and limitation, to continue learning, and to extend my reach more equitably.

I BELIEVE THAT ALL PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE EQUAL RIGHTS AND AcCESS TO HEALTHCARE.

I am working toward this value in the following ways:

  • Prioritizing collective care, collaboration, and sharing of resources through my work alongside complimentary providers and healers.

  • Offering free or low-cost resources to my community through educational content, presentations, and writings throughout the year.

  • Encouraging and advocating for each individual to develop trust in their own expertise around their healthcare and the providers they choose to trust with their care.

  • Choosing not to participate in healthcare practices that pathologize individuals and cause harm.

  • Providing holistic, culturally affirming care and treatment practices through engagement in professional trainings and advocacy.

  • Committing to continued learning and education in order to become a better clinician and person. This aids me in my process of dismantling and unlearning systemic oppression and racism within the healthcare industry.

I would like to acknowledge that I am fortunate to live and work in the beautiful ancestral homelands of the Narragansett and Duwamish Tribes.
