PARENT COACHING PROGRAM

effective PARENT COACHING and support

LET ME GUESS…YOU ARE INVESTING IN YOUR KIDS WITH EVERYTHING YOU’VE GOT BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU STILL FEEL LIKE YOU’re not getting The results you want.

Maybe you feel like you are never doing enough or you don’t have the capacity to be as consistent as you want to be. Perhaps your kids are constantly pushing your buttons and it’s all you can do to get everyone through the day before you sink into bed, worried that you have failed them.

Parenting can be exhausting and confusing. There are so many opinions, methods, routines, and books, all promising to flip the switch on your parenting experience. You’ve tried everything but at the end of the day you may still feel like it’s all-out-war just to get your kid to brush their teeth before bed.

You begin to notice some of the following thoughts surfacing more frequently:

  • Am I the only parent who has a 10 year old who can’t fall asleep on their own?

  • I feel like a monster. Surely, no other parent feels this angry toward their kids.

  • I’m worried about my child. Is she ok? Is she making enough friends? Is she too bossy?

  • My child is super aggressive with lots of outbursts. Where did I go wrong?

  • Is there something wrong with my child? She is so sensitive. We can barely get out the door without a tearful meltdown.

the good news is that you most certainly are not ALONE!

I’ve heard these exact thoughts from dozens of parents. Every parent and child need something unique to thrive. I can confidently guide you to a brighter place in your unique parent/child relationship and get you moving through the days with less stress and more calm.

OUR WORK TOGETHER WILL BE GROUNDED oN THESE 5 principles

No parent is perfect. Kids actually need you to be imperfectly human, flawed but able to repair when you mess up. I will help you learn how to repair well, which will ultimately teach your child to do the same.

1

Our work will not be driven by shame but rather focused on your unique strengths and potential as a parent who is capable of change and growth.

2

We won’t work from a behaviorist perspective. Rather, we will work to empower you to grow awareness of your own and your child’s underlying needs. We will listen to what the behaviors are telling us and identify ways to meet those needs.

3

We will collect tools and resources specific to your unique situation. There is no one-size-fits-all; so we will attune our work to your particular needs, just as I want you to attune to your child’s particular needs.

4

Our work will acknowledge what comes up inside of you as you learn to parent a child that undoubtably activates feelings about your own upbringing. Growing awareness of your own experiences will help you to better parent the child you have.

5

I will guide you through a comprehensive process, targeted to address common categories of parenting stress while considering the specifics of your family dynamics. My approach to parent coaching comes from a place of empowerment and strength. I strongly believe that parents can be superheroes when they access the strength and wisdom that they already have inside. The fact that you are struggling is not a sign of failure; rather, your willingness to seek help tells me that you are doing better than you think.

parenting doesn’t have to be difficult forever. you deserve competent and effective support. I am here to partner with you in finding the calm in your parenting experience.
